This Privacy Policy describes how Retsil Oil & Gas Exploration ("Retsil") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you visit our website, create an account, run a coordinate screening, upload records, request a report, or purchase a service. By using the site, you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
We collect the information you provide directly (name, email, company, billing address, payment details through our payment processor, and any well records or tract descriptions you upload), along with information generated by your use of the service (coordinates searched, assessment results, reports downloaded, and support correspondence). We also collect standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited through cookies and analytics tools.
How we use your information
We use your information to deliver the screening or report you ordered, maintain your account, process payments, communicate about your order, improve the engine and models, detect fraud or abuse, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information or your uploaded well records to third parties.
Coordinates, tracts, and uploaded records
Coordinates and acreage descriptions you submit are used to run your assessment and generate your report. Well logs, production records, or other files you upload are used only for your assessments and are not shared with other users or resold. We may use aggregated, de-identified search patterns to improve scoring models, but we do not expose individual user searches or client-supplied records.
Payment information
Card payments are processed by Stripe. Retsil does not store complete card numbers on its own servers. Wire-payment instructions and confirmation details are stored so we can match payments to orders. For the $25,000 Well Save engagement and other wire-only services, banking details are handled through invoice and bank transfer only.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, understand how the site is used, and measure the performance of pages and features. You can disable cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work correctly without them.
How we share information
We share information only with service providers who help us operate the site and deliver services (hosting, payment processing, email delivery, analytics), and when required by law or to protect our rights. Assessment inputs and reports are retained so you can re-download them and so we can honor re-run and update commitments. Children's privacy
Retsil is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us and we will delete it.

Retsil outputs are preliminary screenings, not certified geology and not a guarantee of production. Have a licensed petroleum geologist or drilling engineer review the findings before drilling or committing capital.
